Thank you to Melanie for this commission! This episode, I spend a little time talking about changing my approach to reading these books. Based on a conversation I had with Melanie after the previous episode, I've decided to sort of step back and stop worrying too much about the details in favor of just letting the overall story wash over me. I think that worked well this time around!The bulk of this chapter is about a coup that was planned by Nilfgaard and then gets spoiled by Phillipa and her people. Well, really, it gets spoiled by Ciri who sees the plan in her altered psychic state and blurts it out, forcing their hand.
