Thank you very much to Melanie for commissioning this episode, and this entire book! This final chapter is really surprising. Looking back now, I realize that I'm really thrown off by the fact that Geralt doesn't turn up in the final chapters, and that everything focuses on Ciri. I don't have a problem with it, but it's definitely a departure from what I was expecting. Ciri takes her life into her own hands, for the first time ever, and joins up with a gang who is pretty much bloodthirsty and cruel just for the sake of it. I can't help but wonder if Ciri's heart is really in it, no matter how much she might like her friends. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
