The Time of Jacob’s Trouble: He Who Endures to the End Shall be Saved

In the previous episodes, we have already gone over the specific OLD TESTAMENT (Tenach) verses that outline prophecies concerning ISRAEL and specific LAST DAYS EVENTS, such as: Israel will REGAIN ITS NATIONAL HOMELAND • The world will gather against Israel to destroy it and divide the land • There will be an ATTACK in the last days from the Ezekiel 38 coalitions lead by Russia, Iran, and Turkey • The Antichrist will ARISE (after the rapture of the Church) and become the WORLD LEADER, then SET UP his headquarters in ISRAEL • He will MAKE or strengthen a COVENANT OF PEACE with Israel that allows it to REBUILD THE HOLY TEMPLE in Jerusalem • Once the Temple is rebuilt, 3 ½ YEARS into the peace covenant, the Antichrist will enter the temple and declare Himself God, and set up an “abomination of desolation” in the “HOLY PLACE” The Jews who know their God will FLEE out of Judea and the antichrist will send his army to destroy them • Apparently people from Jordan will come and HELP THE ESCAPEES hide in a safe place, likely Petra where God takes care of them • The Antichrist PERSECUTES AND KILLS all those Israelis who reject him as their God, and who come to faith in their true Messiah, Called in Jeremiah 30:7 as the TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE • God will draw all nations who come against Israel into the Valley near Megiddo to destroy and judge them • The Messiah will return at the end of the 7 years and RESCUE the remnant faithful in Israel who rejected the antichrist and welcome Him • The Messiah WILL SET UP HIS KINGDOM in Israel from Jerusalem—the spiritual city of Zion and rule the nations with a ROD OF IRON while honoring remnant Israel (His 1,000 year reign)   And so we located all these prophetic details in the OLD TESTAMENT, or in Hebrew, the TENACH.   Then LAST week, we began to identify these SAME PROPHECIES in Jesus’s Olivet Discourse by investigating the differences between the details recorded in LUKE’S Gospel compared to the details recorded from Jesus’s Olivet discourse in MATT’s Gospel.   And we noted that since LUKE as the only GENTILE WRITER of ALL books in the WHOLE BIBLE, his Gospel clearly records details that particularly help warn and give understanding to the GENTILE believer as well as the EARLY CHURCH in Jerusalem (ALL JEWISH) to prepare them for the future events.   In Luke’s Gospel, The Holy Spirit records instructions to the EARLY CHURCH in Jerusalem to watch for ARMIES to surround Jerusalem, which is the sign that “The desolation thereof is near” as the “Days of VENGEANCE” for Jewish leaders, and therefore the nation, largely rejecting Him as their Messiah. Remember we read that Yeshua/ JESUS HIMSELF FORETOLD ALL THESE THINGS in Luke 13   Luke 13:34 NKJV - "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen [gathers] her brood under [her] wings, but you were not willing!   Luke 13:35 NKJV - "See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until [the time] comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'
