The TJGT Tour Championship at Horseshoe Bay

The TJGT Tour Championship was played at the Horseshoe Bay Resort on both the Ram Rock and Apple Rock Golf Courses February 13-14, 2010. 202 players from three countries and six states teed it up in this 36-hole Golfweek-ranked event. Coaches from Wichita State, Mary Hardin Baylor, Southwestern saw the Boys 16-18 play 6,721 yards; the Boys 12-15 play 6,373 yards; and all Girls play 5,796 yards in cold and windy weather. Saturday was cold and windy as the temperatures ranged from 28 to 56 with winds gusting around 25 mph. Both golf courses were in great shape considering the amount of rain the area has received. Round 1 was delayed an hour and half due to heavy frost and fog. Sunday was perfect weather for golf. Temperatures began in the Low 40’s and quickly warmed up in the mid 50’s.
