The city of Austin has turned to the homeless for help in decorating the parking garage at the downtown public library as artists worked on 43 murals in the garage as part of the city's "art for all" project after the city council set aside $1-million-dollars in 2021 for projects focused on the homeless, and the "art for all" program was created using that funding, the Georgetown square is back to normal operations following a weekend shooting involving a man and a police officer, some Texas cities and counties continue to raise concerns about whether local infrastructure can keep up with the rapid growth of data centers, and City Council Candidate Selena Xie joins the program to discuss her agenda in running for the district 8 seat of the city council.
