The Tongue is a Fire. James chapter 3 thru 5

James reminds us that as small as our tongue is, it can do so much danger, if we don't think before we speak. Reminding us that good and bad shouldn't come from it. Wisdom comes from above and we aren't to look to the world for instructions. God's wisdom is pure. Furthermore, there are things we should avoid. Lusting for things and being envious about what we cannot obtain. If we draw near to God, we will be exalted by Him. Our lives are but a vapor, so let's remember to always say, if the Lord will, I will do this or that.
