Critically examining Mark4:35-41, we see that the Lord said ‘let us cross over to the other side…(into your 2020)…but a great storm arose. Jesus was asleep peacefully but arose and rebuked the storm, and spoke to the sea and there was calm. We are encouraged to realise that with Jesus, it doesn’t mean that trials and tribulations will not come your way, but it will not have the authority nor ability to overcome you. We learn that in order for us to overcome the storm He has made 2 great provisions for us, HOWEVER we must physically carry out 2 specific actions by this Grace He has gifted us with.
