Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian and Swimmer of all time. He earned 28 medals, 23 of them gold. By the time of his retirement from swimming in 2016, he had won more Olympic medals by himself than 161 countries. Something he may be even more proud of is that he set 39 world records over the course of his career. While MP was very physically gifted, so were many other elite swimmers. He was able to accomplish these incredible feats because he was constantly in pursuit of ways to improve himself and his approach. The skills and techniques he learned he calls Tools.
