The Top Three Political Positions of the #AncientTexan

Nuclear Weapons:  The potential to wipe all or a substantial number of people off the plant with nuclear weapons is real.  The system in place to ensure nuclear weapons are not launched is nonexistent.  Those with nuclear weapons promised the rest of the nations they would disarm, yet we are in a new 3 trillion dollar nuclear race.   My view is that we should work hard toward eliminating all nuclear weapons; this should be our top priority as a human species.  Global Warming: Global warming from burning fossil fuels is a serious threat to future generations.  The only technology we have to replace the energy generated by fossil fuels in nuclear, either Bill Gates reactor or Thorium Reactors.  If we are serious about global warming we need to get serious about nuclear energy.   Military-Industrial Complex MIC We need to reduce the resources we devote to the MIC to have the resources to solve our other social and economic challenges.   We need to restrict our MIC spending to be no more than a set percentage of our GDP and/or some multiplier of what others spend, say 3X what China spends.  We need to unload our job of being Police of the Globe to others and focus on creating a good defensive military. #AncientTexan
