from TuneFM · host TuneFM - University of New England

On the 11th of October, Swedish power metal band Sabaton will be releasing a concert film of their latest world tour, The Tour to End All Tours. Joining the legions of artists to bring a live recording to the big screen with a cinema release including Metallica, Ghost, and Taylor Swift, the unorthodox historians will see their concert film screened in over 800 theatre across the world, including select Hoyts, Event, and Village cinemas in Australia. Our Operations Coordinator and huge Sabaton fan, Ben, was lucky enough to be joined over our airwaves by Hannes Van Dahl! The longtime drummer of Sabaton chatted with Ben about the film, the recording and subsequent production, and future plans of the band. Tune in to hear Hannes' thoughts on the selection of Amsterdam as the location of the recording, what made the show the best choice to immortalise in film, and his thoughts on a return to Australia for a future concert or two!Support the show: https://buymeacoffee.com/tunefmSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
