THE TRAGEDY OF MALEFICENT AND WHY THE HOLLYWOOD FORMULA FILM NO LONGER WORKS

After months of waiting with 'bated breath I was finally able to skip down to my local theater to see Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Yes. It is a stunningly beautiful film and our fantastic main characters standing in opposition to each other were played brilliantly by Angelina Jolie and Michelle Pfeiffer. There were characters and plot lines and all sorts of incredible things which have brought me to the conclusion that the Hollywood formula simply does not work.
