The Traitor Queen- Chapters 9-11

Thank you very much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! So in the last set of chapters, Lorkin is subjected to second-hand physical torture, in that he's forced to watch while an innocent woman is tortured. In this set of chapters, we find out that they are likely putting him in a situation where he can heal her and then they can just torture her again, which is brutal. In the end, she begs him to kill her, and he finally allows her to drink water that he knows is poisoned (and he thinks she knows, too). And then, for some reason, they let him go! I'm baffled. Omg there's a whole thing with Lillia and this damn bully who seems to be hellbent on cornering her, and I really think he's got something up his sleeve that he's planning and I want to know wtf he's trying to do.
