Westminster was thrown into chaos last night after Downing Street rushed to defend Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership amidst whispers of 'coup' to oust the leader. Starmer’s allies are pointing the finger at two of his top ministers, Health Secretary Wes Streeting and Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, accusing them of “leadership manoeuvres”.
