The Transformative Experience of Connecting With Our Inner Adolescent to Release Childhood Conditioning, Codependent Behaviors, And Embrace Our Divine Feminine

from Women Waken: Spiritual Healing for Trauma in Relationships to Shift from Codependency to Divine Feminine · host Whitney Walker

One of my favorite themes to explore in my work as a podcaster is; how do we want the future to look? What do we want for future generations that we didn't have? And what struggles and suffering would we like to see cease? The youth of today can teach us a lot about how things are already changing and what direction we're moving in. My guest this week, Holly McClain, is a Counselor and Certified Life Coach specializing in work with adolescents and families. She is seeing first hand that these next generations of teens are becoming more aware of the importance of self love, healing, talking about their feelings, and speaking their truth. On this episode, Holly shares about the needs of teens in society today, how we can learn from our adolescent years to help us move through our own times of change and metamorphosis later in life, and what we can do to begin creating the future we'd like to see for our children and their children. Holly McClain, M.Ed. is a Counselor and Certified Life Coach specializing in work with adolescents and families. She is also a Certified Guided Meditation Facilitator. Holly’s experience working with teens, young adults and families includes a 20-year career in the California Public Education System as a School Counselor and educator. Holly currently owns a private counseling and coaching practice supporting adolescents through various life transitions, working one-on-one with clients and families, as well as facilitating groups and circles. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Holly currently lives in the greater Sacramento Area and works with clients remotely, across the U.S.You can contact Holly and work with her [email protected]
