Easter Sunday afternoon -The Tree Of LifeBible Reading: Ezekiel 47:1-12; Revelation 22:1-5Summary: In the New Jerusalem, there will be a riverflowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb throughthe middle of the city’s streets. This river is the water ofGod’s grace in Jesus, the water of life that Jesus offeredthrough the Gospel. The origin is from God and the Lamb,who earned the Living water for us. The water is as bright ascrystal, clean, and there is nothing that can cause any sicknessanymore. And on both sides of the river, there will be trees.The leaves of the trees will be for the healing of thenations. In paradise, there was only one tree (Genesis 2:9),but in the New Jerusalem, there are trees on both sides ofthe river so that everyone can eat from its fruit.Preached By Rev Lourens Nel on 20/4/25 Pm service
