They had everything they could ever want, joy, peace, and most importantly, a close relationship with God. Join us this Sunday for Part 2 Something happened that changed our lives forever. The serpent, cunning and deceitful. He tempted Eve with the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She and Adam both knew they were not supposed to eat from that tree, but the serpent twisted their minds, and they gave in to temptation, disobeying God's command. Sin enters the world, and with it came pain, suffering and death. Adam and Eve were no longer able to live in the perfect paradise of Eden, and instead were cast out into the harsh and broken world we now live in. But amidst all this darkness and despair, there is still hope. Even in disobedience, we see God's love and grace shining through. He could have punished Adam and Eve right away, but instead, He gave them a chance to repent and provided them with clothes to cover their shame.
