Happy Hump Day! Glad I mowed the lawn yesterday as we've got rain in the forecast today. On the show this morning, we let you know what's on TV today/tonight. We talked about raccoon that was stuck in a dumpster but got rescued. And we talked about dolphin that was stuck in a fishing net but ALSO got rescued! In the news this morning, a massive earthquake in Russia sent tsunami waves to the coasts of Japan and Hawaii, the latest on the drowning death of an 11 year-old girl in Merrill on Sunday, an update on the trial of Savannah Myers, and the winners of the "Drinkies and Sporkies" awards for the Wisconsin State Fair. In sports, the Brewers beat the Cubs again last night, the NFL Hall of Fame game is tomorrow night, the latest on the NYC gunman who was targeting the NFL offices earlier this week, and a man who was stalking Caitlin Clark is going to jail. Elsewhere in sports, Ben Askren is back in the hospital after a lung transplant, former Raider Christian Wilkins allegedly kissed a teammate on the head which led to his release, and NASCAR truck series driver Stewart Friesen suffered some serious injuries in a recent accident. Did this woman's Ring doorbell camera capture video of an alien? Or is it just a trash can in the wind? Apparently, hemorrhoids are becoming an epidemic and we looked at some reasons why. And the "trendiest" drink of the summer doesn't sound very trendy at all. Not the first time this has happened and likely won't be the last…but a WNBA game was interrupted last night when someone in the stands threw a sex toy onto the court. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a pastor from Colorado and his wife are in big trouble for running a cryptocurrency scam, ChatGPT's ability to easily click through the "I am not a robot" verification tests, a Canadian man saved his own life by punching a cougar in the face, an angry teacher is pissed that some parents don't want to buy extra school supplies, and a couple of Phillies fans got a bit horned-up at a recent game!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
