from Chronological Bible Journey Podcast · host Bellevue Media
Day 307 | Mark 15:2-5; Matthew 27:11-14; Luke 23:1-12; John 18:28-40; Mark 15:6-15; Matthew 27:15-26; Luke 23:13-25; John 19:1-16; Mark 15:16-20; Matthew 27:27-31; Luke 22:63-65Before the cross came the trials—mock hearings filled with lies, fear, and corruption. The religious leaders rejected the truth, Herod wanted to be entertained, Pilate feared losing his position, and Barabbas—the guilty man—walked free while the innocent Son of God took his place. Through it all, Jesus stood silent and resolute, bearing the judgment meant for others. We see in these men the reflection of our own hearts: pride, self-interest, and compromise. Yet even for them—and for us—Jesus chose the cross. The innocent took our guilt so that we could be set free.Hosts: Ben Taylor, Michael PritchardVisit bellevue.org/bible for more resources and to download our reading plan.#ChronologicalBibleJourney #ChronologicalBible #BellevueBaptistChurch
