THE TRUE HEAD OF THE CHURCH - E077•2026

As Easter approaches, much of the world turns its attention to Rome, the Vatican, and the Pope as the visible authority of Christianity. But is this what Jesus actually established? In this episode of Uncommon Christianity, we step back from tradition and examine the claims of the papacy in the light of Scripture. Did Christ build His Church on Peter as a supreme earthly head, or is the foundation something far greater? We explore how the early Church was transformed after Constantine, how imperial structure began to shape religious authority, and why the idea of a visible head of the Church on earth does not align with the pattern of the apostles. Most importantly, we return to the central truth revealed by the Father Himself: that the Church is built upon the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. This is not about attacking people, but about calling all of us back to the simplicity that is in Christ. Jesus did not leave us dependent on a man, a system, or a throne. He gave us Himself. And the testimony of Scripture is clear: Christ alone is the Head of the Church.
