Jesus is the light by which we see—all of creation and all of life flows from Him. In this Daily Hope, Pastor John S. Dickerson reflects on John 1:9, which declares that the true light gives light to everyone. This same Jesus who spoke galaxies into existence humbled Himself to take on human form, entering our world as a baby, walking in poverty, and ultimately giving His life on the cross. Pastor John reminds us that the Creator of the universe became one of us out of love, so that we could receive eternal life. Even if you have not yet chosen to believe, His light is already shining into your life. Today, you can receive Him as Savior and experience the love of the God who made the stars yet came near for you.
