This story is real.  Debra Marie BlackCrow was a 39 year old Oglala Lakota Sioux woman on month 7 of her pregnancy.  After years of abuse from her Parole Officer husband, Rodney Patrick McNeal, she decides to take control of her life and leave the man who was supposed to protect her.  Sadly, she would never make it out alive.  On March 10, 1997, Debra was viciously beaten, stabbed, strangled, dragged, drowned and doused with chemicals.
