The Trump Shutdown

In spite of the recent resolution to the 35 day Trump Shutdown, take a listen to what our guests had to say about it and how Trump ally Greg Stewart sought to justify the shutdown and the 800k federal workers suffering with no pay.  Sitting in the Oval Office with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Donald Trump proclaimed that he would take the blame for the government shutdown if it occurred. He famously said, "Chuck, I won't blame you, I will take the heat for the shutdown..." Now, nearly three weeks into - the ill calculated and no way out - the shutdown of federal agencies, our national parks, and federal employees working for free or not working at all; the Don, is digging in and now trying to blame Democrats for the government closures that he created. Trumps lack of understanding, fear mongering, and solo warrior mentality, has trapped him in a game of chicken with over 800,000 American lives. Children are suffering; veterans are reeling from his arrogance and ignorance. The question is why?
