The Truth

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today. Have you ever thought, 'that may be true for them, but that's not my truth'? But if something is actually true...then, it is in fact...true! Jesus Christ said, "You will know the truth and the truth will make you free."  In fact, He declared that there is truth and not a relativistic truth.  He didn’t say you will know “a truth” or “your truth” but He said, you will know “the truth.”  Today, people will say that we can’t know anything for certain but, again, the Bible tells us in 1 John 5:13, that “These things have I written that you may know that you have eternal life." Now this is something you can count on to be true: Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He alone can save you.
