Everyone wants to beat the market and make money! But what if I told you can get great stock market returns without beating the market year in and year out? Only 5% of investors over a 20 year period have been able to beat the market. The vast majority of funds and those trying to sell you the market cannot consistently beat the market. Buying a low cost index fund like VOO or SPY will get you close to beating the market but actually would perform just slightly worse.
