Meet Daughter of Change, Vanessa Daniels. In early 2019, the love of Vanessa’s life died from multiple, massive strokes to his mid-brain. Her mom then died at the end of 2020, preceded by her sister in 2007. As her life imploded from loss, and realizing she was both a widow and an orphan, Vanessa thought her life would end too. Yet with an enduring faith, the support of an amazing community and life-giving resources, Vanessa learned to not only dream again, but also to rise from the ashes, turn her grave into a garden and thrive again as she finds joy pursuing God’s call on her life! Vanessa and I discuss her journey through loss, the tools and resources that helped get her through the most horrific phases of grief, what she found on the other side, and how her experiences have helped her gain a new purpose and become a better life coach.
