from Judge Mathis Podcast · host Telepictures

First, The plaintiff says her daughter has two children with the defendant, but the plaintiff has custody because of her daughter’s addiction and mental health issues. She’s petitioning the court for a paternity for the younger child because the defendant expressed doubt he is the father. The defendant says his ex used to tell him he wasn’t the father, so he wants the truth. Then, The plaintiff was in the Navy and became homeless when he got out. He eventually went to film school and became a director. He says the defendant is his best friend and he agreed to shoot a music video for the defendant’s son. The plaintiff claims the defendant’s son stole his jewelry when they were on set, so he’s suing for the value of the lost property. The defendant argues his son had nothing to do with it and never stole the jewelry, so he doesn’t owe anything. Plus, The plaintiff dated the defendant for eight years. He says they broke up several times a year, but there was lying and cheating in their relationship. The defendant says he cheated on her over 60 times. The plaintiff claims he loaned the defendant money to pay for an energy bill, but she hasn’t paid him back, so he’s suing for the balance on a loan.
