To establish the existence of the rapture, he references 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, which describes how the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, accompanied by the voice of the archangel and the trumpet call of God. The dead in Christ will rise first, and then those who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Rick elaborates that this rapture will occur on the day of the Lord, which marks the beginning of the seven-year tribulation period. The sound of the trumpet will signal the start of war, and God will evacuate His people before unleashing His wrath upon the earth.
