The Tuskegee Experiment

The Tuskegee Experiment, formally know as the Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the *African American* Male and informally referred to as the Tuskegee Experiment or Tuskegee Study, was a study performed by none other than the US public health service and the CDC in collaboration with Tuskegee University then known as Tuskegee Institute whose purpose was to study the effects of syphilis if left untreated… the study ran from 1932 to 1972 although by this time, medical advancements had been made and syphilis was entirely treatable, the subjects of the experiment were never informed and the results were pretty not good.As always, if you love the show, please leave us a five star review on your preferred podcasting platform and follow us on our Instagram and Facebook Page @CountryRoadsCreeps!
