On January 2nd, 1935 a man by the name of Roland T Owen checked into the Hotel President in Kansas City Missouri. After a couple days' stay, with some strange events happening along the way, he would die at a hospital from beating and stabbing wounds. His body was stored in a local funeral home for two months since they found no family or anyone to make arrangements. Today, we're covering the unsolved disappearance and death of Charles Morgan. On March 22, 1977, he left his Tucson, Arizona home to drive two of his daughters to school. After dropping them off, he vanished. Three days later, he arrived back at his home. According to his wife, Ruth, he was missing a shoe, had a plastic handcuff around one ankle, and had his hands tied together with a plastic zip tie. The 1986 Miami Dade FBI Shootout occurred on April 11, 1986 when a small group of field agents for the FBI attempted to apprehend William Russell Matix and Michael Lee Platt, who were suspected of committing a series of violent crimes in and around the Miami metropolitan area. The incident is known as one of the worst days in FBI and Law Enforcement history and is often studied in Law Enforcement Training. The aftermath of this day involved a complete overhaul of the training, techniques, equipment, and weapons that would be issued to Law Enforcement Members across the nation.
