The Two Apples: How One Company Buys AI From Google While Writing Its Code With Anthropic

On April 30, 2026, Apple shipped a Support app update with internal Claude Code project instructions accidentally embedded in the app bundle. 24 hours later it was on Hacker News. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman had reported the same fact three months earlier in a sentence: Apple runs on Anthropic. The April 30 leak was the artifact.There are two Apples right now.
