The Two Faces of Pride

from Red Couch Theology · host South Fellowship Church

Hello, hello and welcome to another episode of the Red Couch Theology podcast. Hey, this week we have Nathan Holmes on the show because he brought the message on Sunday about pride. And we talk about how pride might actually show up in some ways that we don't normally think about. Obviously, we can think too highly of ourselves, but can we also think too lowly of ourselves? Can self-deprecation actually be a form of pride? And if both of those things keep us at the center of the story, what does it look like to actually see ourselves accurately? We talk about some of the signs that we might be leaning too far in either direction and how we can learn to think about ourselves in a healthier way. So let's dive right in.
