The basis on which God chooses to answer our prayers is a question that man simply cannot answer. However, by searching through the Bible and uncovering God's instructions for prayer, we can maximize the likelihood that our prayers will be answered in the future. The exact manner in which prayer works is a secret, and that secret has not yet been revealed to us on earth. According to Deuteronomy 29:29, "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law." In light of Deuteronomy 29:29, Reverend Hicks uses the Forgotten Rules of Prayer book, which combines all of the cherished "revealed" rules on prayer and presents them in a format that can be passed down, as wa Ignited Fortitude Bobby Valdez & Aaron Sharp At Ignited Fortitude we feel called to make disciples as Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:18-20, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. We know every person has been equipped with purpose. Throughout life we let the world and enemy wear us down and doubt ourselves allowing that fire inside us to dwindle or extinguish.
