On that warm September night, the family saw a white sphere the size of an illuminated cue ball, an orange orb churning like an ocean wave, and a third craft roughly one hundred yards wide that looked like a turtle shell with a snake-skin pattern. Everything went quiet, the crickets stopped, and a flash of light left the car idling with the ignition off and his mother and grandmother swapped seats. Then came the missing time: an airplane-hangar room, a bald attendant who looked like a hybrid, two ant-like beings with bamboo legs, and strange raisin-like packets placed on his body. The case that followed is extraordinary on paper: roughly 250 witnesses across five or six towns, a reference at the United Nations in support of GA 33426, and recognition as the first UFO case deemed historically true in America, inducted by the Massachusetts Historical Society and sealed by a circuit court judge.
