The UFO Case That Went to the United Nations: Why Disclosure Is Hiding in Plain Sight | Thom Reed

It may arrive the way the Reed family's case did: buried in court records, governor's letters and a United Nations reference that most people never saw. Thom's case was raised at the United Nations in support of GA 33426 on October 2, 1992, the same date his father, an attorney and former mayor, had died years earlier. Back home, the case was inducted into the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the state Historical Society and then sealed by a circuit court judge, making the records a memorandum of law and an uncontested legal document. Roughly 250 witnesses across five or six towns backed the family's account, and Thom passed polygraph tests about what he saw. Those witnesses did not all know each other, which is part of why the case carried so much weight for so long. Yet when Netflix's Unsolved Mysteries reboot covered the case, Thom says the documents never appeared. No governor's letters, no court record, no mention of the UN. The same omissions frustrated him in the Ancient Aliens and Discovery segments, which is why he now leads with documents, not drama, at his UFO Monument Park and on his website.
