The Ugly Stepsister

A bloody Cinderella retelling from the other side of the mirror. This week, we tackle The Ugly Stepsister, Emilie Blichfeldt’s satirical body-horror twist on the Grimm’s Cinderella, told through the eyes of stepsister Elvira. When her widowed mom marries into a wealthier family, tragedy strikes—and the family scrambles to clean up debts. Enter the grand ball, Prince Julian, and Elvira’s desperate bid to become the belle of the ball… at any cost. And by “any cost,” we mean painfully invasive nose jobs, eyelash-stitching procedures, toe amputations, and—yes—tapeworms. 🪱 There aren’t many tangents in this one, but grab your anti-nausea meds because things are about to get queasy! 🩸👠 Find us on your favorite social media platform and share your favorite scenes, quotes, or theories about "The Ugly Stepsister" using the hashtag #TwoChicksandaHorrorFlick Don't forget to subscribe, rate, and follow us on social media for more horror goodness!
