But with all these fish fries, how do you decide where to go? Hollen Barmer had the same question back in 2012, so she made a Google map to keep track. Today her homespun idea has ballooned into an official Pittsburgh Lenten Fish Fry Map, all updated and verified every year by a team of 18 Code for Pittsburgh volunteers.
