The Ultimates 2024- Meeting This Universe's Luke Cage, Nick Fury and Red Skull

In this week's episode, Ryan makes Jamie continue to read the currently ongoing series, The Ultimates, as well as the One Year In one-shot. Written by Deniz Camp, art by Juan Frigeri, and guest art by Chris Allen and Jonas Scharf.  The also go on tangents about the 616 and Netflix versions of Luke Cage, the lesser known Human Torch, the references to original Norse Mythology made by issue 11, and a recital of Chip Zdarsky's James Gunn/Kevin Feige fan fic. Unfortunately, there was a technical issue with one of the microphones from 1:01:24 onward so.....sorry about that. Timecodes00:00 - Intro03:30 - Comic Credits04:06 - One Year In22:09 - Issue 9 - Luke Cage34:54 - Issue 10 - Red Skull49:09 - Issue 11 - Thor1:01:24 - Technical Issue1:02:27 - Issue 121:12:14 - Zdarsky Fan Fichttps://youtu.be/_0gXtxkjKj4?si=46DpQIgyZuLx0imj - Ultimate Invasion episodehttps://youtu.be/Wuj4DPqUErA?si=19olK1rtAOfZXtR- - The Ultimates issues 1-6https://youtu.be/rtqTwxHsJOw?si=KUUCC3ehb_I2UzcR - The Ultimates issues 7-8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfcJ-qendYk - The treasures of the gods - Myths for Sad GrownupsYouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2GA9q40JoBmnbOrkjGuJg Apple Podcasts- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-comic-literate-podcast/id1670647884 Spotify- https://open.spotify.com/show/4hd5lO43gSZyyh5UEmcq2U?si=NOE0uX4iRHWGDwIoCRfndQ Google Podcasts- https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL3RoZS1jb21pYy1saXRlcmF0ZS1wb2RjYXN0Pocket Casts- https://pca.st/r8b1cyg7Comic Stan- https://youtube.com/@comicsstan-q1z?si=F9mxzO-eSmfWphWx
