Emmanuel (who now poses as Christian, Gianni's red-haired secretary, to escape Maximilian's suspicions) has a stormy conversation with Gianni.It is almost Christmas, and Emmanuel finds himself completely cut off from the possibility of celebrating it with Gianni, who opts for "Massy" at a stroke. This offends and irritates him.
