The Unique Challenges of Female Entrepreneurs with Pat Schneider

from Female Founder Unplugged · host Lindsay White

Pat remembers the day she was sitting through yet another tedious HR arbitration case and had a realization - this never had to happen. This arbitration, the escalation to her office, the conflict between the two parties… it was all unnecessary. It was preventative. Pat immediately contacted her boss and proposed an idea - what if they invested in to developing a unique leadership training that taught their employees how to resolve their own conflict? This would save her department tremendous time and resources and would empower every employee to be more effective communicators and negotiators. Her boss loved it.Flash forward to thirty years later, Pat has shared her management consulting expertise with organizations across the globe. Her company, Macro Consulting, specializes in strategy development and implementation, board governance and executive team building.  Pat has also served as a Board Member for widely respected Canadian organizations such as YMCA Canada, the Calgary Arts Authority, Mount Royal University and the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. Pat continues to develop innovative consulting methods to this day, and is determined to make a difference for her clients and her community, until “the day her phone stops ringing”.In this Episode The end of arbitration (2:15).
