Inside the home, located near the University of Idaho campus, officers would find four bodies in total: three young women that lived at the property (Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Xana Kernodle) and one young man (Ethan Chapin, Xana's boyfriend). All four victims had been killed in an apparent homicide, likely stabbed to death with the same knife, but specific details about the crime remain clouded in mystery.
