Luna visits the small town of Lost Creek, West Virginia, in the fall of 2019 to help her friend Nora clean out her late grandmother's house. While sorting through boxes in the attic, Luna finds an old laptop that still has power. The inbox holds a single draft email, dated the day the grandmother died, addressed to a stranger. The subject line is blank. The body contains only a timestamp and coordinates. Luna and Nora drive to the coordinates that night — a remote corner of the town's oldest cemetery. What they find there is not a grave.
