the unreasonable ones

from Difficult-ish Hosted by Mohuya Khan and Mashnun Munir

we heard a quote recently by the late nipsey hussle (rip) that goes, "the reasonable man adapts himself to the world. the unreasonable ones persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. therefore, all progress in the world depends on the unreasonable man." in the south asian community, any individual that's en route to pursuing a career outside of the traditional ones, the ones we're all aware of, they're pretty much given the side eye. the two of us are currently following a path into the arts, but the journey definitely hasn't been just a walk in the park. in this episode, we dive deeper into the reasoning behind why we're so persistent in pursuing our odd paths, the different struggles and roadblocks we've faced along the way, and share some of our listener's responses to what obstacles they're actively working through in their lives. listen to us in explaining why we chose to go against the grain in our community and become the unreasonable ones. My Messy, Human Life Sheena Grund A new adventure of being alive in this messy, difficult, and beautiful human life... topics to be discussed at different times: life, unlearning, disability, faith, love, Spirit... really all the things! It'll be messy (as in all over the place), but that literally in the title of the podcast, so hopefully it's not a surprise! Also, life is unpredictable and beautiful, which I hope this podcast will be, too. Half Ties kwamenabrace Half-ties is a conversation series on the funny, beautiful and sometimes challenging moments that interracial couples experience being with somebody who’s culturally different from them.Hosted by creative couple Olivia & Kwamena, we listen to stories about growing up with racism and prejudice; falling in love and meeting the in-laws; navigating difficult conversations within the family and in society, and how these couples make their relationship work and what they actively choose to pass down to the next generation. Deep True Crimes (S.H) S. Harlowe True Crime, Mystery, and a little bit of history thrown in. This is a community for people who are drawn to the darker side of things, who aren't afraid to hear honest opinions about difficult matters. 'Ships in a Kitchen 'Ships in a Kitchen Ships in a Kitchen is a podcast created by husband and wife, David & Nicky Bamgbade simply with the aim of encouraging relationships with humour, transparency and Biblical truth based on their own cute yet crazy-ish testimony of love, marriage and unplanned pregnancies! David and Nicky have been married for 15 years and while today their marriage is somewhat great, it hasn't been without it’s own up’s, downs and break downs and break ups!
