The Unseen Hand | Deliverance

The king countered the old decree of death with a new decree of deliverance, providing a picture of how God superimposed a new decree of deliverance through the blood of Christ over against the old decree of death. The Festival of Purim was instituted as an annual festival to remind Israel of God’s great deliverance from death during the time of Esther. The Lord’s Table is Christ’s reminder to us of our deliverance from sin and death.
