The “Unstoppable” Yolanda Pierson on her honor, the “Different Journey” she’s on & being her grandmother/family’s dream realized

Yolanda Person is a close friend of the show and joins Sheletta again today to be celebrated! Last month she was named President and CEO of the Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce. This month she was selected to be one of the 2026 Women in Business honorees by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Yolanda speaks to how much it means to be chosen to represent her community and shares the impact her grandmother had on her life. Sheletta talks about how blessed they are to be recognized after generations of Black women and their contributions being purposely forgotten.
