And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:20 states, “...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This powerful promise from Jesus provides comfort and assurance to all believers. Jesus speaks these words at the Great Commission, encouraging His disciples to make disciples of all nations. In this context, His promise of presence is not merely a comfort but a commission to engage in His work, knowing He is always by our side. Jesus' assurance emphasizes that we are never alone in our mission. Just as He was with the early disciples during their challenges, He is equally present with us today. This presence is significant as we face uncertainties and struggles in our lives. Life can feel overwhelming, but remembering that Jesus is with us can transform our perspective. When we encounter trials, we can pray and seek His guidance, trusting in His promised presence. His companionship empowers us to evangelize, serve, and live out our faith boldly.
