In our latest edition of The Update GP podcast, City Manager Aaron Cubic’s guests are Fire Chief Jimmy Sanchez and Councilor Kathleen Krohn. Chief Sanchez discusses a $296,000 Community Wildfire Risk Reduction grant from the office of the Oregon State Fire Marshal that will pay for helping residents of Grants Pass create defensible space around their homes to help protect against wildfire.
