I loved how the author managed to incorporate religious elements into a science fiction book, as this is the first time I’ve read a book like this. Mendal is one of my favorite characters, as he felt powerful, loyal, and curious. But I also enjoyed how the author made Caligastia, Lisa, Fay, and even Lucifer realistic characters, with emotional stories and distinctive personalities.
