The US strike on Venezuela: How did we get here?

from The Daily Article · host The Denison Forum

Early Saturday morning, President Trump announced that the US carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and captured its president, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife. He then stated that the US is “going to run” Venezuela until a “proper transition can take place.” Maduro and his wife arrived at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn late Saturday. They are expected to appear in federal court at noon today. Today, we look at five questions we all have surrounding the event: How did we get here, how has the US responded, was it legal, what comes next, and how should Christians respond to these events today.About Denison Forum and The Daily ArticleToday's Daily Article was written by Dr. Jim Denison and narrated by Chris Elkins.
