The Value of a Lamp - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 8-22-25 #1647

“Send Coach John a message”Well, I got the emotions going with this one and it wasn’t even something I saw coming, until I started sharing things from my heart.  This one came from Wisdom Stoics (@WisdomStoics) where this gem was shared: “I will never forget those who came with a lamp when I was in the dark.” It hit me again as to how many people I need to thank for lighting up my pathway through my life.  Being in education and coaching, there are countless people out there that had very bright lamps to help me and I hope my lamp helped them. Former students & players along with coworkers too. It also hit me that there are plenty that I didn’t even know. Those that came before me and their lamp helped someone that directly helped me. We need to remember that our “lamps” have many different things that go into them. Kindness, encouragement, love, hard work, attitude, effort, etc., all are part of what light up our paths.
