The Value of Bulldog Faith - Mark 7:24-30

What do you know about bulldogs? They have short stubby legs, they go back and forth, they're built like a rock, they've got funny scrunched up faces and they're unmistakable. But what bulldogs are known for in particular is their tenacity and courage. It's like they know no fear and when they latch onto something, they don't let go. I was thinking about that when it comes to faith. To have a bulldog kind of a faith is desirable to God and it's desirable for us. I want to unpack that from a story in the New Testament where Jesus encounters a Gentile woman coming to him for healing. I wanna talk about divine healing and I want to talk about coming to God with the things that are on our heart and our life, personal things, maybe things for loved ones. This woman doesn't even come for her own stuff. She's asking for grace for her child. So we'll talk about how to come to God like that with tenacity. Preacher: Bill Dyck Extra reading: Exodus 15:22-27
